This page describes how Memorise AB processes personal data when you contact us or visit memorise.se.

Data controller

Memorise AB (reg. 559461-2425) is the controller for the processing of personal data on memorise.se. For data-protection matters, contact us at hello@memorise.se.

Data we process

When you contact us by email or contact form, we process the data you provide: name, email address, company and the content of your message. The purpose is to answer and handle your enquiry. If you book a meeting via our booking calendar, we process the data you enter in the booking (name, email address and chosen time) with our booking provider to schedule and confirm the meeting. When you visit the site we use Google Tag Manager for web analytics, but analytics cookies and the related data collection are only activated once you consent via the cookie banner. They're off by default and you can withdraw your choice at any time. In addition, we use a cookieless, aggregated visitor measurement (Vercel Web Analytics) that sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and reports statistics in anonymised, aggregated form. Because it neither uses cookies nor stores data that identifies individual visitors, it runs without consent. We set no advertising or marketing cookies. Our cookie page describes how this works in detail.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in being able to answer and follow up enquiries from companies and prospective clients. If the contact leads to an engagement, the data is also processed to perform the contract (Article 6(1)(b)), and invoicing records are processed to comply with a legal obligation under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Article 6(1)(c)).

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are erased when the matter is closed, within twelve months at the latest. Data tied to an ongoing engagement is kept for the duration of the contract. Records covered by the Bookkeeping Act are kept for seven years.

Recipients and processors

We never sell your data and do not share it for anyone else's marketing. To run the business we use suppliers that process data on our behalf, known as data processors: Vercel, which hosts and serves the website and provides cookieless, aggregated visitor statistics; our email provider; our booking provider Cal.com (EU instance) when you book a meeting; and, where you have consented to analytics, Google as the provider of Google Tag Manager and web analytics. Where you have consented to marketing, we also use LinkedIn (ad measurement and audiences) and Leadfeeder (identifies which companies visit the site and processes details you submit in forms, such as email and phone number). If data needs to be transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA, it is done with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about and a copy of the data we process about you, and to have it corrected, erased or restricted. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest and, where applicable, request data portability. Contact us at hello@memorise.se. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.
