ABOUT / TEAM

Katarina Dahlin.

Specialist in the network, international growth and off-page SEO

Katarina Dahlin is the specialist Memorise brings in when a brand is growing internationally, in particular into the Finnish market. She builds visibility in new markets with off-page SEO, link strategy and digital PR, the external signals that decide whether a brand is named and cited, including in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI overviews. She is Finnish and has particular knowledge of the Nordic and Finnish market.

My view

A brand is not cited because it asks to be, but because others are already talking about it.

Background.

  1. The background

Katarina has eight years of experience in SEO and digital growth, from small companies to large brands across B2B, B2C and e-commerce. She works in the Nordics and internationally, with Finland as her specialty, and has consistently driven organic growth that shows in sales, not just in traffic. Among other things she has automated the optimisation of thousands of product descriptions with AI, work she has presented from international stages.

  2. The role in the network

In Memorise, Katarina is activated when a brand is taking the step into a new market, not least the Finnish one: building trust, mentions and visibility from the ground up in a new country. The tools are off-page SEO, link strategy and digital PR, the external signals that make a brand appear where the question is now asked, in the AI answers, not only in the blue list of links.

How I work.

Links are earned trust, not a quota.

A link is worth something when it reflects that someone actually has reason to refer to you. That is the signal search engines value for ranking, not how many links you have.

AI search is decided off your site.

On-page is no longer enough. For a brand to be mentioned in AI answers, the machine needs to meet the brand in several credible places. That work happens largely off-page.

Measured against the business.

Visibility is a means. The question is always what it should achieve for the business, not how it looks in a report.

Right now.

Right now I work on helping companies get found in AI search, through my process Feed the Machine: a practical way to build the external brand signals that help companies show up in answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI overviews.

In parallel, I am a recurring speaker at international SEO conferences, among them SEO Vibes, BrightonSEO, Baltic-Nordic SEO Summit and the Women in Tech SEO Festival.
